• Dottie Black

  Owner

  As the owner of A Southern Land Title Insurance Agency, LLC, Dottie Black has devoted the past 20 years to the real estate industry. She began as a realtor in 1995 in the Raleigh area selling new homes. She and her husband, Michael, moved to Moore County in 2000. May 2001, Dottie opened the Pinehurst branch for Fidelity National Title Insurance Company. 10 years later, in 2011, she started A Southern Land Title Agency, LLC. Her office provides title insurance throughout NC. Dottie is a North Carolina native. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Barton College, formerly Atlantic Christian College, and now lives in Pinehurst with Michael and their two children.

• Sharyn Campbell

  Director of Operations, Senior Underwriter

  Sharyn moved to Pinehurst, NC at age 12 from New Orleans, Louisiana. After graduating from Pinecrest High School she attended Sandhills Community College and earned an Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Sharyn worked as a Registered Nurse in the surgical and home health fields for 13 years. Needing a change of pace, she started working for a local real estate attorney in 2002 and continued through the refinance boom in 2005. Sharyn earned her North Carolina Paralegal Certification in 2007. Sharyn joined A Southern Land Title Agency in 2012 and became a North Carolina Licensed Title Insurance Underwriter. Her experience preparing closing documents for real estate transactions, allows her to assess title insurance risks and assist with satisfying challenging underwriting requirements. Sharyn enjoys spending time with her friends and joins her family in Louisiana and Mississippi every chance she gets.

• Jessica Kondziola

  In-House Counsel, Commercial and Residential Underwriter

  Jessica Kondziola is a licensed North Carolina attorney who grew up in Moore County. After graduating from Pinecrest High School, she received her bachelor's degree in Public Relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2013, Jessica graduated from Elon University School of Law and received her JD. Jessica joined A Southern Land Title Agency in 2014. Her ability to search, read and comprehend NC Statute allows our office to answer more difficult attorney questions. She is also the author and editor in chief of our monthly newsletters and organizes continuing legal education seminars. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, traveling, & spending time with her friends and family. She especially enjoys spending time outside on her 5 acres, with her boyfriend and three pets - Chloe & Jazz the dogs, and Liadan the cat.

• Pam Dixon

  Commercial and Residential Underwriter

  Pam is a native of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She attended Francis Marion University and Coastal Carolina University, where she played tennis for both. Pam joined a Southern Land Title Agency in July of 2016 as an Underwriter. She came to us with over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry. From 2001 to 2016, she owned and operated an independent title examination firm searching title in 20 counties across central North Carolina. Her experience in title searching allows a thorough understanding of title insurance risks. She is an avid tennis player and she and her daughter, Raegan, a Junior at Pinecrest High School, are wake surf enthusiasts. They have lived in the Pinehurst area since 1994.
